Ive downloaded a few albums using mIRC but wen I try to extract them it says that 'there are no archives in the folder' .... why is this??? :unsure:

Maybe its not an archive, zip,rar or similar.
Maybe you need to rename it.
I've been using this lil app Properties Plus to renaming extensions.

Im glad that sum1 is helping.... the full filenmae is

Mis-teeq-Eye_Candy-2003-WCR

(it's for a m8) and it says that it is a winrar archive and that it is a .rar file
what can I try renaming it to??

Is it suppose to be music? There are numerous extensions for music only, mp3,ogg, etc.
Whom you dl it from? Ask him/her what kinda file it is, what you use to open it. File maybe corrupt too, in that case, you'll need to dl it again.
Or, you can try Properties Plus (http://www.ne.jp/asahi/cool/kish/pplusmain.htm), its really handy tool.

yep its suppose to be music, I got it off mIRC and I dont know how to talk to the person u are d/ling off but im gonna giv that tool a go... cheers

Don't rename it to anything, it should open with WinRAR. If it doesn't, it could be corrupt. Try another download and see if you have the same problem.
