How many Songs can i put on a 256MB mp3 player?

Haha I agree with you. I believe every OS comes with some sort of calculator? And google also can calculate simple division problems for you?

but.. i thought that more than 256mb of songs fit on a 256mb mp3 player
jus like a computer. comps come with like 256/512MB and u can store more than256/512MB on ur comp

computer ram is 256mb/512mb.
Harddrive's are in the GB. Most these days are over 100gb.
256/5 is how many songs you cna fit on a 256mb MP3 player (which is what i'm getting for christmas [also gonna buy a 512mb or 1gb flash card thingy for more room])

i have a muvo tx (256 mb) and i can store about 140 songs if i convert them to wma.
They sound horrible if you hear the hi-birate mp3 right after the wma.
