ok i have a dvd rewriter and was wondering if i could put films onto a dvd and watch them on a dvd player.

like put 4-5 films back to back on it

how many minutes capacity is the dvd ? its a 4.7gig one

also how would i convert it so it all runs back to back on a dvd?

Depends on the video compression.

Check this site for some good conversion guides:

Also depends on what format your DVD player can play.
I have a Philips DVP642 which play almost anything so you can put just the data back to back and watch it...

What type of a file is it? If they are BIN's, extract the mpg file out and burn it on the disc as data.

Try to see if it will read mpg's so you dont have to convert to dvd.
