Coppied game problem

Right, finally I finished all the steps in the guide but for some reason the whole game is in black and white.

Is this because of?

A. The torrent I downloaded
B. My PS2
C. My Chip
D. I burned it wrong

the game I downloaded was smackdown vs. raw, it was well seeded.

is the game pal or ntsc? i've heard that can be a common cause of b&w screens.

Its the USA version, so NTSC i'd think
