Does anyone know of any PCI graphic cards besides the Radeon 9200SE and the GeForce FX5200?

There are plenty of cards that are older than those, but I assume you mean higher spec. If so, I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

Someone asked the same question in the last couple of weeks, and I couldn't find anything better than the two you've mentioned.

5700LE is currently the best pci card out there...unless there is one higher (doubt it), bestbuy/newegg has it for around 150. 150=decent motherboard that has 8xagp($60) + radeon 9600 (around 80)

early Xmas present.... getting this wed, gotta have something to run my chrissy presents with

intel pci express board 915GEV
1 GB DDR2 533 RAM
3.4GHZ
nvidia pci express 6600 128mb <--- best card out there ;)
for some "mild" gaming too

(couldn't find the 256 in time, but looking at the bench marks, the 128 will do just fine)

But a 5700LE is basically an updated 5200 (faster ramdac, GL1.5 c/f GL1.4) so it depends whether you think the extra $20 is worthwhile.

Member number two in this thread that confuses PCI with PCI express. I can see that they made a mistake naming it that. I think Express Graphics Port or EGP would have been a better name.

About this thread... I think that you should consider replacing the motherboard. It would cost almost the same but offers more potential for later upgrades.

no i mean why does it have to be a PCI video card?
cause if your mobo doesnt have an AGP port you cant really play any games on it anymore anyway..........

@lynx, if you take a closer look, the bloody monster is a 5700LE even though it's in 5700 section.

Yes and PCI in general isn't PCI Express.

agreed... PCI Express should be changed to another name...too much room for error/confusion.... "EGP" works, make it happen.
