Do i need to pay with a credit card for xbox live?

the title says it all, i want it for christmas but my parents are pussies when it comes to the credit card.

do i need buy xbox live with a credit card or can i just buy it with cash at future shop?

you can buy the xbox live starter pack at loads of shops (game etc) but youll need a credit card to sign up for the free trial and he account i think

they ask you for a credit card to create your online account once youre all ready with broadband and the starter pack and cd - so yes i think youll always need a credit or debit card

When I bought my XBL, I had to use my brother's CC. I think you still need it with the 2 month trials.

You dont need a CC for ebay though. Just use PayPal, I use my checking account.

if you got a checking account and have a debit card that works fine, just as long as it has the visa logo, that's how i use mine
