Screenshot capturing problem

I guess this best goes here and not Gameworld...

Im playin Call of Duty United Offensive and I'm having problems with the screenshots. With this game and so many others, you simply take a screenshot in the game by pressing F12. Problem is, two of the three that Ive taken look like the below picture. I know there are other program that can take screenshots but I dont want one. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it.

printscreen for full screen capture of alt/printscreen to capture only the open window. Then paste to your favorite image editor (even MS Paint)

Yeah, but then I've got to stop playing, exit the game, open paint and save the image in case I want to take another. No good.

try using hypersnap DX
you can set it to take pics and auto save them in what ever format

fraps can take pics too and auto save em
but they save as .bmp only (well in the last version i ever used)

some times using prnt screen dont capture DirectX applications

Well also you may want to try ScreenHunter as it has specific settings for ActiveX in it.
Also you never mentioned what app your using that I noticed anyway...
