System Resources and RAM are two different things. If it says you're out of memory, that means you either have too many programs running, or you closed a program and it failed to release the memory it was using (Kazaa has a problem with this). Like Soul814 said, you either need a memory recovery program like Rambooster, or simply restart your computer.

Yes It does say 58%, Ihave a total of 64.0MB of Ram, And I dont usually have lots of programs running, rightnow I just have Kazza and my cd drive on my task bar. Where can I get a Ram booster?

1. get some more ram.
2. goto start/run and type "msconfig".
3. delete stuff you dont need on startup.
4. maybe run a virus check.
It seems you have something running in the background ?
Hope that helps

I think you may be confusing your readings. Usually your computer will tell you how much free space you have left on your harddrive, not how much memory you have free at any given moment. You can get several different memory boosters at Downloads.com and theyall will tell you the current status of your memory. Just be careful how you configure them, you don't need to optimize and scrub your memory all that often and you don't need to set the recovery level all that high...(RTFM)

not really... when your ram is low it tell you too... i was running alot of applications and it displayed an error...

64 MB of ram isn't that much. You should look into getting more if you can. Also, you could try setting your own Virtual Memory settings. Go to Control Panel - System, click on the 'Performance' tab and click on the 'Virtual Memory' button. Click on the circle that says "Let me specify my own virtual memory settings". Assuming you have enough free hard drive space, you should enter about 160 into both the Minimum and Maximum boxes. Click 'OK', then click on the 'File System' button. Where it says "Typical Role of this Computer", select "Network Server". Click 'OK' twice and restart. This should improve your performance by making more memory available, but as others have said you should also try to prevent any unnecessary apps from loading at startup.

Yeah, I think it's a nice little utility. I only run it when things start to get sluggush, but it you want to have it load at start-up, it doesn't use a lot of system resources at all.

how much ram does rambooster itself take? and when you optimize ur com for more ram how much does it give? just enough to cover up how much it takes?

lol
