For some reason I can't update my Norton SystemWorks 2005.

Was running fine for a couple of months, not I'm getting this message:


LU1899: LiveUpdate could not update this product or component. If this problem persists please visit the Symantec Support web site for more information.

Any ideas? :blink:

Ok. I've managed to d/l a verified from eMule Plus that has extended my subscription to the year 2116 :01:

Haha that is so awesome. Is it even possible for they to catch you with that? And did you actually buy your system works?

Well the thing is I d/l Norton SystemWorks 2005 and the .iso contained a keygen that covered both the activation, and telephone code (you must remember to disallow the firewall letting the program access the net at this stage). So, with both codes input correctly, you have a full years update subscription... Well all was well until today when I tried to update the program.

It's all good though because someone released a file, which, funnily enough I downloaded today (verified of course) that changes the update from 2005 to 2116.

Very happy bunny now :)
