I own the original version (on CD) of Adobe Photoshop 7. Ive had it since it came out. I recently downloaded the new version, Adobe Photoshop CS. But the problem is, the password and "crack" that comes with the program are no longer working. It says "the password has expired."

Im not asking for a password or a crack, I just want to know if CS is worth owning when you already have 7.

Totally disconnect from the internet before you try to crack CS.

There isn't much difference.
most guides are written with 7 in mind, but cs is pretty much the same anyway.

You pick.

Make sure that CS is not open when you are opening the crack, it will detect it and you'll be screwed. :(

i don't think patching an app while it's open is a good idea to begin with

if you get that message you have downloaded the wrong version,

It shut down on me and I got the right version

Just had to uninstall it, then reinstall it. I just had to open the keygen, copy the key, close keygen, install PS CS. :)

Few extra nice features, like shadow highlight correction (terribly useful), and the color matcher. The filters menu browser was a nice addition too. But not worth paying any money for

the working cracked version doesnt need a keygen.

you can use every key you wanna enter.
and finally you only need to replace 2 files.

oh well, no biggie. I had it up and running in a couple minutes. Either way is better than $600-800 :P

Does it say about changing your Date to before 2004? Usually with Adobe serials you are supposed to turn back the years on your computer.
