What would you say is the better browser?

I find myself using Avant a lot more than Firefox.

I Tried Firefox & thought it sucked!
Not tried Avant yet. Still Good old Opera 4 me :o)

Netscape (http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp) a Mozilla based browser like Firefox is the first browser ever (as Mosiac) and still the best

I see on the Mozilla page that theres also a Mozilla 1.8 Alpha 5 and a Mozilla 1.7.5. Whats the difference between these 2? Which one is better?

Mozilla 1.7.5 is the current, official version of the Mozilla Suite. Mozilla 1.8 Alpha5 is the next version of the Mozilla Suite. It stands to reason that v1.8, when officially released, will be "better" than v1.7.5.

If you want to know what the difference is, read What's New in Mozilla 1.8 Alpha (http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.8a5/README.html). Those would be changes and additions made since Mozilla 1.7.5.

Oh, and... Firefox all the way.
