Im having this problem where i cant delete these folders. i right click and press delete and nothing happens.

ive scanned for viruses, but i dont think thats the problem because those are programs i can trust, not something i downloaded off kazaa.

does anyone know how i can delete them?

Reinstall, then uninstall from windows add/remove or the programs own uninstaller. It might leave a folder in your c: but then delete that manually . :)

Reboot

Add/Remove Programs > Uninstall

Reboot

Delete Main folders from HDD

Check Task Manager for any processes that could be using these, ONLY if they wont delete.

i cant reinstall these programs because there 700mb downloads each.

besides they are already on this computer. i just want to delete the folder.

is there a program that does this?

You can't remove a programs folder as the program is inside it, which it needs to run.

Either you don't want the program or you do. I'm sure you can figure out what you need to do.

Oh, and sort out your icons in 'All Programs' Right click and 'Sort By Name'. It looks untidy :)

I had the same problem...what u do is go to command prompt...but before u do...find where the folder is..then u gradually get to the folder where the bad folder is...then u just say del "folder name". This is w/o the quotes. then u go back, and just drag to the recycling..its a pain, but its foolproof

--oh btw...if u dont know how to move from directory through directory, just type CD "folder name" and keep doing that till u get to where the folder u wanna delete is..and this is w/o the quotation marks..
