MSN 7 Beta Problem

I dont know if its a problem that every BETA has or if its just me, but In order for me to instant message someone, I have to right click on their name on the Buddy List and click on "send instant message." I cant double click on their name like before. What can be causing this? Is it a known BETA problem?
