playing DVDs

I copied an entire DVD (Video And Audio) to my computer...now i cant play DVDs since i dont have dvd player.. but is it possible for me to play these dvd files...is there a codec? the filetypes are;

Yes, You need a mpeg2 and AC3 codec. You can get theses Codec from any dvd player like Power DVD or I think the kl codec pack has them. Look around.

Video LAN www.videolan.org can also play them.

You could also use DVDShrink to make an iso and then mount it with Alcohol or similar...
