View Full Version : My new computer won't recognise the hdd properly!

Ok I just got my new computer up and running but my computer doesnt want to fully recognise the hdd. WWhen the computer loads it shows the actually hdd show up but when I start installing Windows it doesnt detect it. Wtf do I do??? :(

There was a whole like 4 page thread about thhis 2 weeks ago, just go and search for it, its a problem every user will have with Windows and SATA. Also Google will help.

O wait no my hdd is a Hitachi 160GB 7200RPM Serial ATA 150 8MB Cache. Is that ATA or SATA?

Xp pro has key generators out there floating around on the net. Run it and change your key.
