How to mod Xbox & play legit on LIVE without being banned

Just got a Xbox for christmas and I've been doing some research on modding Xboxes. I especailly liked the soft mod tutorial on this site. Anywho, I have a few questions.

1: Is there a way I can mod my Xbox to play games offline like RPGs and etc but then play a legitimate copy of Halo 2 on LIVE without being caught?


2: If there is can you recommend the best way to do it and/or usefull websites?

-Keep in mind that I dont plan on replacing my harddrive so LIVE won't detect a new HD

i think (think) the only way to do this is to (using ltools) uninstall the hack and then play online, then when your done install the hack again...uninstalling/installing doesnt take long, but it would be kind of annoying to do it a lot, im sure there is an easier way, buts the only way i know of

there are a few/expensive mod chips that have an on/off switch so M$ won't detect it. i think thats only thing you can do for playing burned games :unsure:

The link i gave works with any dash, and works with the LIVE 2.0 ;)
