Fastest dvd to xvid converter?

Yeah thats the trade off speed versus quality, the only way to get a decent movie done quick is have a high spec pc, I use 4 different encoders all for different reasons like home movies or dloaded films and they all take roughly the same time to encode a similar sized file to a high quality.

Speed mostly depends on the codecs themselves. Using less of the advanced options like QPel, GMC, etc will speed up the encoding process. At a small quality cost of course.
