it's as easy as ram.

it's simply unplugging the power wire (same one as a hard drive's power wire) if you have a card that needs one (just the newer ones), then taking out 1 single screw, and pulling teh card out (carefully).

it won't snap unless you like hammer it or something.

seriously the only way you could go wrong is by pulling on the fan\heatsink or a capacitor or something.
just pull it on edges where there's no little circuit bits and you'll be fine. :)

you could always ask one of ur 'expert' comp friends to put it in for you or take it out..

why? like they said it would just take 30-60 seconds.... it would be kind of pointless

Well there is that whole exploding GPU problem some cards have, but I'm sure you'll be ok. :P

ya do what the ppl above said, but remember one important thing dude, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TOUCH THE GOLDEN PART (PINS) AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CARD, THE GOLDEN PART THAT GOES INTO THE AGP/PCI SLOT.

u have been warned.

some AGP slots have a little thingy that snaps into the card so it stays in place...so if your pulling and it doesnt come out..you might have that thingy, so youd have to press it in, then the card can come out safely.

as long as the gold part is left untouched, everyone is happy :)

try not to touch anything metal, those caps hold a whole lotta electricity, a friends cousin died doing it once.

That "little thingie" is a retainer clip very much like the ones on your DIMM (RAM) slots.
Some boards (DFI, for instance) use a retainer that springs from the side ( a terrible arrangement, IMO), but they all do the same thing....retain the vid card on the far end of the AGP port.
Pay attention and you'll be fine.

This isnt nearly as hard as this is sounding,
just be slow with it, if its your first try
just think of a how it goes in and out,
dont apply too much preasure, but thats not too bad a problem,
try to touch it not so much, it makes it dirty

ummmmm..........
