You probably meant "lots. I dislike the audio quality much in Windows Media Player((Equalizer Wise)). In Winamp I feel you can maniuplate the sound much better, making it more ear-friendly. My favorite preset in Winamp is the "Rock" setting.

well i dont even mess with EQ settings in media players
i use the AC 97 audio controller for that
that way its a system wide setting, dont have to set each player

i use the AC 97 audio controller for that
that way its a system wide setting, dont have to set each player

i think you're really missing out on what winamp offers. you didn't change the EQ?! no wonder you thought it sounded like shit. a flat EQ is useless. if you ever do get winamp, turn on the EQ & go presets>load>preset... & select Rock or something. :cool:

Yea it must be the way Windows Uninstaller views things - perhaps they're different installers, I dunno.
I did put Prisoner of Azkaban on here last night but when I ran it the screen ****ed up and I had to power down (no reset button on this little box) because it stayed like that if I tabbed back to Windows or brought up Task Manager... I would have looked into it further (refresh rate being set too high possibly) but my youngest sed don't bother just get on with something else lol :D

Poxy ****ing Zonealarm Security Suite (just updated to the latest) on this computer is blocking most sig images and I can't seem to change the settings to allow them. It's cookie contrrol is ****ing awful (you don't know the trouble you have to go through to make it leave Google's alone) and it keeps complaining that there's no Anti-virus (because it doesn't know KAV) even after turning detection off.

I just installed the windows versions oldest to newest, and linux last.

It works pretty well, but backing up the mbr might be a good idea, in case you screw up and format c:.

So no additional bootmanager (SuSe comes with grub, and so does Mandy, for instance).
