Mame 100% CPU usage.

I`ve just started to use the MAME emulator and it uses full 100% cpu on my computer.IT there anyway to lower the CPU usage so it doesnt fry my computer while playing games. :(

I`ve got an althon AMD 2700+ and also 512 DDR corsair RAM.I`m also running it on win 2k.

There are so many differing versions of Mame currently available. Which version are you using, from where and did it include the Kaillera client?

Most games DO use 100% CPU. It's nothing to worry about, it's not going to fry it.
unless the temp is at like 80degrees celcius.
