Xvid?

If I burn a xvid movie, will it work on my DVD player, it is divx compatible so I'm thinking it would.

yes I think it will work. use a CD-RW 2 test it ;)

Most divx certified players will play xvid as well, have only had one movie that wouldn't play, but was able to re-encode with the proper xvid settings and it worked fine.
