Writing movies to a CD

I am not sure should I post this msg in Movies, Internet or here.
Anyway:

Sometimes I download movies from Internet in .wmv format and .rm

Next if I want to copy these movies to a CD, I drag & drop them to the CD drive. However, I get a window which says 'This movie has some extra information attached to it, do u want to carry-on with this operation.....'

I choose yes. The system completes writing these movies to the CD.

But afterwards when I try to run this CD, it does not run. The system simply does not write the movies to the CD.

Do you know why I am having this problem and what could be the solution???

Are you using windows to write to the CD?

If so, this could be the root of the problem. Try a dedicated app for this, for example nero burning rom
