Mobb Deep - The Infamous
Mos Def - Black On Both Sides
Ghostface Killa - Supreme Clientele
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter The Wu-Tang
Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent By Design

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
Mos Def & Talib Kweli - Black Star

7L & Esoteric - Dangerous Connection
Could be plenty more though, but if I was allowed to listen to nothing else for a year I'd be happy.

Why are you so quick to resort to violence to solve your problems? Yeah I can agree that I was provoking, but this is a typical response you can expect from a lot of unintelligent people that listen to rap music if they don't agree with something that you have to say. "Most" use insults instead of debating. I can argue that "most" people that listen to rap music are not as intelligent as those who do not. Try to find a rap song that does not mention "niggas", "40's", "bitches", "weed", or "money". Another thing I can't stand is all this slang that goes along with it... grill, honey, bling bling, etc etc etc
Also, from what I've seen is people that listen to rap music have very limited musical tastes, wait I just said "rap" and "musical" in the same sentence. I was just in a chat room and here is a response from some one who likes rap on the topic of rock music. "Rock music sucks because all they do is kill themselves" right... listen to rock music and you'll end up commiting suicide.

ok, groups that don't dwell on 40's, bitches, weed, ect....hmmm, black star, de la soul, arrested development, will.i.am.. and as far as peoples comments, there are stupid people no matter what board or block you are on. it's a little closed minded to just say all of something sucks just because of a few examples you have heard. i would not like rock music if i was to judge it on groups like the meatmen (i.e. cripple children suck), el duce (i.e. butt rapin' man, suck and fuck and cook and clean). if i was to judge based on groups such as these, i would assume they have a serious aryan wanna-be complex going on. and slang? do you speak proper english at all times? i really don't think so.

The Roots - Come Alive. The best live Hip-Hop album I think I've ever heard. Kicking myself for not picking it up years ago. D'OH!! Jill Scott has such a sweet voice (Gonna download her album now) and it compliments Black Thought's rapping really well.

I reckon I could live in prison if all I had was, tupac's greatest hits (2cd's) and the "marshall mathers LP". rap at it's best. Chronic 2001 is also amazing. I love 50's but I think I'll think different of it in a year or two.
