i reckon that even though you could prob fit it yourself, get a recognised pro to do it or say they did it and then watford would know that you have not personally gone inside it and therefore, i don't see why there should be a problem but give them a quick bell to be sure, better safe than...

the chassis being sealed = probably a little sticker over a joining on the casing.

Shouldnt Be A Problem, But Check With Watford First, Wouldnt want to do it and then a few months later the computer has a problem.
no idea

Is there some kind of sticker that prevents you from opening the chassis? Or is there some red gunk or so around the screws you need to loosen to open the chassis?
You can usually tell if the warranty prohibits you from opening the chassis that way.
Tho' it may still be void even if they don't have any measures to keep it closed, they have to be able to prove you have opened it.

well I have a case on it for now, so I cant really tell. I'll remove the case in an hour or two to check

The case is the sealed part. Once opened the seal is broken. Check carefully before doing anything!

Excellent. Now remember that on your way to make better thread titles.
'problem' just doesn't cut it
Put everything back the way it was if you ever need to turn it in to get it repaired on warranty. You should prolly wait for that email to get answered as well before proceeding, just so you know the lay of the land.
