Ok i know a PC (personal computer) is called a pc when using microsoft
but i never hear Mac people calling their hardware "PC"
so what do Mac and Linux users call it?

Mac users generally refer to the name of the box - eg G5 etc

I believe Mac users use the cunning and somewhat misleading term Mac :unsure: to describe their mactypepcthingy. :)

As far as I know it's to do with hardware, and not the OS.

Linux users use the term PC too, as far as I know.


And mac users say mac, 'cos they are weird.

I mean you understand the Danger...that
maybe one day your in a bus, or a bar
and you dont realize that it is filled with Linux or Mac users and you mistakingly
use the Wrong word to describe their hardware....
could be leathal...
