It is very horrible outside at the moment. The wind is happily chewing the zinc flashing off next door's roof and I am, somewhat uncharitibly, hoping it doesn't land on my car. :ermm:

I would not worry too much about your car. If you are having any 'visitors' from a nearby town, the zinc will be bagged before it gets near your car.
That is if they can get past your security guards and those bloody big dogs. I know I couldn't.

Dark, mild weather, and no snow.
Considering the time of year, I'm not complaining.

Last night was awful - it was really wild. I see they recorded a gust at 124 miles an hour. Two hurricanes in a week? This is not funny.
I noticed as I drove to work today that the Gorse is starting to flower - that is about two months early. It is a very strange winter indeed. It will probably freeze in a month and kill everything off. :(
