Is there such a software that will convert say .wav or .Mp3 into .Midi format?
Why I ask is so I can make my own polyphonic Ringtones for my Mobile phone out of my music collection so i need the right required format.
Would'nt it be cool if this works!! :music:

i've heard a lot of people ask for this, and no one really can ever find one that works well. i dont think its really possible, but if it is, i'd like to hear about it too. :)

Finale, the sheet music composition software, can save to a midi file.

It can also any midi file and show the sheet music for it.

You kidding? I LOVE Finale!!! It's awesome!! It isn't very hard to find. Don't go for the 2005 version if you're gonna download it though because I wasn't able to find a crack that actually worked for it. Without the crack, it's just a 30-day trial or something like that.

I have Finale 2003 and it works beautifully. The crack was easy to find.

With Finale, you can insert notes measure by measure until you complete a song. Then, just save your project as a midi file and you're good to go.

I hope this helps!!!
