Mercenaries Loading

Why is Mercenaries taking forever to load?
ive loaded the first part but now that ive made my profile its loading again and its takin forever the first loading took about like 5 minutes and on the second loading its been past like 9 minutes

I played for like 45 min. Pretty good so far. I like 3rd person but the camera is too close to the guy.

Yeah on the hard drive it takes less then 5 seconds to load. It probly the media your using, xbox is picky on what it allows.

How do you know he doesnt have the ps2 copy?

But yea, its prob the media. If not the burn speed or the dvd drive.

and i used Sonic brand media and i burned it at 2x
but i think it loads faster now it was only the first time it was loading too slow so i got pissed and turned off the xbox and loaded the game again and it loaded faster
i would ftp it but its a pain in the ass theres alot to do to ftp

FTPing is a piece of cake. Even HCGamer figured it out :P

I burned mine on Sonic @ 4x so its not the media... could be the lens.

yea i can ftp ive ftp'd b4 but its easier to burn it b/c when u ftp u have to extract a lot of shit and takes like a hour for it to send

You can try to clean it with a dvd lens cleaner. I would just FTP though :P

Using Qwix you can do a full game (extract+ftp all at once) in like 15 minutes.
