You talking about those 99p 2 way to Spain deals?

Well it is getting silly that I can fly to Switzerland and back for a pound less than I can go to Norwich (25 miles) on the train :frusty:

Having said that, they are usually last minute deals and you gotta ad insurance and various other shit on it, so if it says £10 you can read that more as £45 :frusty:

Jonno

Don’t take these fly to *destination for £10 at face value. Once you have added tax, insurance ect, It can come to over £200 for two people.

There was a big caffufle recently about the subsidies. I think it was Ryannair / Charles de Gaulle but that is from memory and probably not accurate.

Yeah, It was Ryannair. Don’t forget a lot of these deals include accommodation, and while the deal states “fly to *destination for £9”, it’s a further x amount for the hotel and possibly travel to and from said hotel, then include all the tax and travel insurance.

Although it soon adds up, it's still cheaper than most flights.

I recently booked a holiday and this is how much it cost for two flights to Dublin through Ryanair....

PAYMENT DETAILS
********11.96 GBP Adult x 2
********45.40 GBP Taxes,Fees & Charges
*********8.92 GBP Ins/Wheelchair Levy
*********0.00 GBP Car Rental
*********0.00 GBP Insurance
********66.28 GBP Total Paid

So whilst the actual flight only cost 5.98 each, tax and insurance knocked the price up <_<
