i click cancel or finish on an open torrent, and the window and the system tray thing disappear. i look in task manager, and btdownloadgui.exe is still there?!?!?!? wtf? this happens every single damn time. :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

try an older version or if you dont have the latest version install 0.3.9a

i'm using .39a. i'll try an older version
known bug in the current version of wxPython...
Quick Fix: this goto prefs. and uncheck 'Minimize to system tray'

Try getting an older version. I noticed this was happening to me too with 0.3.9a. I too lazy to go back though :lol:

erm...i've tried unchecking the "minimise to system tray" as well
my verdict...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
...and yes, i've really really waited

Im kinda thinkin it has something to do with SP2. I have had some programs get really screwy at times (like maketorrent2, it randomly throws a bitch fit on SP2 machines) I use azureus, and all is well, but it dont use random ports. I have my port set in the 50,000 range and it seems fine.
