View Full Version : How do I get COMPLETELY rid of a program?

I've tried several icon making programs and have found that none are as good for me as Axialis Icon Workshop 5.0. I can't find a full version of this anywhere for download.

The problem is that the downloadable trial version has left 'something' on my pc (I guess in the registry) so that it knows when I dowload it again and try to install it again that I've already done this before. How can I fix this so that on the occasion that I need to create an icon, I can just re-install?

after uninstalling
run registry cleaner
also use a regedit to search for references to that program and delete (only delete "stand alone" references to it)(caution)

What do you mean "stand alone"?

if you don't know what your doing with the registry then i advize you not to.
stand alone: as in an entry that has no dependants on it.
