DVD-R question

say if I burnt a 2 gigabyte film onto a cd, thats 2 and a bit GB left, so is it possible to pop that cd back in a finish up the space, or will I need a dvd rw.

but dont select 'close cd/DVD after burning' !!

Small notice:
You won't be able to play the dvd on a standalone player as long as you leave the dvd open for burning other stuff on it.

Another small notice:
You cannot burn 2 gigabytes to a CD. You need a DVD.
