PowerDVD Problems

Hey All,

I have the latest version of Power DVD and it's having trouble playing audio from a file I downloaded. I recently downloaded King Arthur DTS which comes as 3 files (i.e CD 1, 2 & 3) but although I have all the packs installed using my KG, it won't play the audio.

VideoLAN plays it fine, but I want to use it with PowerDVD. Any ideas?

you need the deluxe version of CyberLink PowerDVD to play DTS

the installer I have is 17 MB. (PDVD_6_multilang.exe)

mine support DTS (used valid deluxe key)

i'm using the same version. 16.9mb.

have you tried testing it out on dts?

i also have Cyberlink.PowerDVD.6.Deluxe.Enhanced-BetaMaster.rar but that's 11.5mb and i haven't tested it out yet.

When you open your power dvd does it show the DTS logo on the opening screen (as shown below)

when i first installed it i had the

Power DVD 6 CLJ deluxe
it didn't have the DTS logo on screen
I upgraded to the version shown above 11.5MB.eng

yes mine does show that, but it was 16.9MB verified.

as i said before i do have Cyberlink.PowerDVD.6.Deluxe.Enhanced-BetaMaster.rar which happens to be 11.5MB but I don't want to uninstall my original, put this one on to find out it was not the problem :(

ahhhhhh i can see i might have to go down this route eh. i wonder why there is a difference in file size, i.e 16.9MB to 11.5? Weird.

You used the wrong key:

You used the Deluxe CLJ key but that doesnt doesnt activate DTS.

You need to use a Deluxe key ;)

Each 'pack' was installed, until I could no longer input a code, for example "You cannot upgrade to a lower version" All packs were installed using this KG, although if you're both correct in saying that I need to input a "Deluxe Key" and it's not on my KG, who has the correct KG. I thought the one I had covered all the bases?

Ok, that was already installed and it didn't work if that's what everyone is referring too.

Look I'm not stupid guys, but if it was able to work using the KG I have then i would have it working by now. Now either there is a better KG out there, or the people that are saying it works haven't tested it out yet.

Both 16.9 & 11.5 MB files have been tested, and I'm almost positive it's not the software. Hell I even used the official client from their site, and that didn't do it.

Could it be you need to uninstall it Completely.
(Conflicts with codecs?)
Then install the version you got from cyberlink
with the correct deluxe key

I'll tell you what. I'll do exactly that, but just remember that these packs are available to the consumer for a price (obv) so they shouldn't be conflicting anyway.

use a regcleaner (CCleaner) then do a clean install.

If you use a valid DELUXE key you will have DTS support.

Ok I've downloaded the trial from their official site. Registry is clean. I'll let you sll know in the next few minutes...

Maybe if you would not post a picture of that keygen but instead just say "valid deluxe key ;) " or something. Then IKE probably wouldn't bother you.

Besides, that 'fix' did nothing at all. I still can't get any audio from PowerDVD and yes I am using the 'Deluxe Key'.

Ok well I have done everything I can think of with this. It just isn't working.
