VCD with nero

Here is my situation-- I gave to two big avi and mpg files to burn as VCD (to watch in my TV) . Nero took 1 hour to encode the the files and began to burn the CD. Then error. the CD had a problem. So i got a better CD but Nero starts the long encoding process from the beginning. There must be way to save the encoded files somewhere.

You could use Nero Recode, which comes with Vision Express. I use WinAVI video converter, works wonders, much better than Nero Recode.

ermm....cant you encode and save a project with nero? :unsure:
i've only used it a handful of times, but i know i saw that option....
