...for a 1.7 GHz/80Gig/352MB/crappy on board graphics pc

Ones with guns and killing please, only ones that will play well though, nothing that the machine can’t handle.

(Already got Ghost Recon which plays fine)

Vice City won't run on my crap graphics, tried that along with III

I'm after some sort of fps war game, and a decent golf game With real tournaments, no cartoony stuff, and no tiger woods

'Links' golf game? Not a lot of shooting but some golf in it.

I know it's getting on a bit but the original Medal of Honour is worth a look if you haven't played it. More shooting , not so much golf

The warhammer strategy one with the space marines?

EDit: it won't work terribly well on the highest settings, but it will work.

Forgot to mention Soldier of Fortune and AvP, both are decent but old, AvP is even abandonware, as is system shock 2 (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=3924) which is also a good game.

And I think you might be able to play AvP2 and SoF2 as well.

Peerzy

AvP2 needs like 400Mhz so he would be able to play it. Also half Life 1 and expansions and hundreds of mods. Max Payne 1 is good as well. Also trying to Install Windows is like a game, end levels well 'ard :(

Half-Life
Unreal Tournament

These classics will run on older hardware and are still great to this day.

Unreal Tournament (The first one) doesnt even need a graphics card to play  Also it has no cd key so even copied versions can play online, and the game doesnt even need a no cd crack and the game makers emoved the cd check for us.

Supernatural

Yup. That's probably why the game was so popular.

Vietnam isnt as good as bf1942, ea fucked up on it so it relies on the communinity to fix it. ALOT of ppl have moved back to bf1942

Unreal Touranment Doesnt need much, my 200mhz played it fine for about 30 mins, then would lag up and you would be forced to close it. but hell in 30 mins you could beat the game :p

Where is Bawa these days?

On-topic: Fallout 1 and 2 are pretty decent games.

Reading and just lurking, i think we told him to read the posts to many times

Also on-topic: Drive 1 is a class game, along with Starcraft and Warcraft 1+2. Carmageddon 1 + Expansion pack was great, i started playing it again a few months ago, still as class as it was when it came out.
