Those Dang Pop Up Messages

ya know I hate hate hate those pop up messages in the gray boxes! How can I prevent that stuff ? I have ignore all message checked but these still come thru..also I would like to delete p-track it has caused too much confusion I appreciate any help you all can give.. i was worried that maybe someone who is against p2p could post here and give bad or perhaps computer fatal info, how can ya tell the "godd" guys from the "bad" ones? thank. Bad

I suggest getting a pop up blocker they are quite effective.

Just follow these intstructions pertaining to your particular OS.


Windows 2000

Click Start-> Programs-> Administrative Tools->Services
Scroll down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK.

Windows XP

Click Start->Control Panel
Click Performance and Maintenance
Click Administrative Tools
Double click Services
Scroll down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK

Windows NT

Click Start ->Control Panel
Double Click Administrative Tools
Select Services-> Double-click on Messenger
In the Messenger Properties window, select Stop,
Then choose Disable as the Startup Type
Click OK
