replace images on a website?

Is there a way to do something like using adblock but instead of just completely removing a picture it can exchange it for another picture...

basically what i'm trying to do is make the google home page look better. :P it would load the image(s) from my computer so it would be faster too. :)

why not make a page on your computer, and add a google search bar to it, that may be the easiest way.
