Hmm - How popular are each card?

I ask because when the demand for a particular graphics card is higher than supply, manufacturers have been known from time to time to add the chips for a faster card into the in-demand GFX cards. (Can't really be slower ones or the customers might have a riot ;))

If the 6600GT is a very popular one, it could be that it has a faster chip than it should. :D Not saying it is, just that it could be. :)
