View Full Version : computer problem, windows doesn't stream media anymore

I used to be able to stream almost all videos (avi;wmv;ETC) but after a format to the same OS (2kpro) I can't stream anything, windows only saves it.
what setting can I fix.

sounds like you need a browser plugin. . .
what happens when you drag and drop a video onto an open IE window?

it ask me to save it, like I was trying to download it off the net, the URL was from my desktop.this is in IE, well myie2 BTW.

ok if you have play videos in web pages ENABLED in IE>tools>internet options>advanced>multimedia
anit doesn't you might need some WMP plugin or something

I didn't have that before, I have always been opposed to DRM
I'd rather not try that because I didn't have it before.
