it didn't ever happen before though...

i just noticed it does it for www.opendirectories.net too.

i dont know if this is related, but when i click on the smilies here, they dont get inserted. i just get a "#" added to the end of the url.

( angry smilie here )

check this: tools>options>web features. make sure that "images form originating website only" is not checked.

just checked ross and its unchecked. if i right-click and do "view image" it comes up with an error and says "The file /img/xxxx.jpg cannot be found. Please check the location and try again."

smilies still aren't working for me. (angry smilie again)

anyone have anymore ideas? i think its getting worse. now my sig wont show up and i've noticed category symbols disappearing on torrent sites. this is so strange.

maybe a re-install of firefox since IE still shows everything?

well i'm not really looking for a "which is better" argument, but i just like how firefox works more than IE.

k ross, i'll give it a new install.

nah I'm not arguing about it either I'm just saying firefox really really is annoying to use especially when 70% of my web browsing is on forums. at just had nothing but trouble with firexfox

fixed it. went to: tools\options\web features\advanced javascript options\ and unchecked "change images."

do most people have this checked or not? maybe it got enabled by accident.

o well. i'm glad its fixed. :01:

my change images is checked... ;)
maybe you have a problem with java on your computer? reisntalling firefox would probably fix that but if it works then dont bother. ;)
