Until Microsoft makes their official announcement on it, this one is still firmly in the rumor category, but we’ve gotten word from one of our trusted sources that Microsoft has pretty much settled on a name for the next Xbox: the Xbox 360. Our source, who has worked on several projects involving the Xbox and the Xbox 360, has seen the proposed packaging and other design elements for the new console, and says that as of right now the console is being branded as the "Xbox 360".

Don't really like the name, cause of that CNN show. Anyways it makes sense to have a 3 in there to compete with the ps3. :P

Xbox 360? Wtf? I'm not gonna buy it cuz the name sounds gay......actually I prolly still will. :P

It will probly be the same thing that happened to the dolphin, it will get complained about and changed.

maybe it will be in a circle shape and they will call it X-Cylinder :D

I thought it was going to be called Revolution.

Usually those names are just working titles anyway.

Yeah N5 was the first working title now nintendy are naming it Revolution, however i doubt that will be the final name. Just like the gamecube was titled Dolfin for ages.

dolphin was the code name for the gcube project. it was never intended to be the final name ;)

yeah now people need detox it's so addictive. and the defective drives was a great way to make more money, crafty MS.
