i kno tmpgenc is gonna be listed but what are some otheres?

WinAVI. I used it a few times, works nice www.winavi.com
The downside is you have to pay for it or you get a watermark in your finished conversion which sux..........check your local torrent sites for a possible copy :)

If your not one of those DVD anal types, where every little thing has to be anal.....
Then WinAVI Video Convertor v6.3 is the one for you...

Download trial from website & PM for crack if you have trouble finding working version

TMPGenc is the best so why would you be looking for something else... but at any rate CinemaCraft Encoder is good and Diko is good for skvcds

TMPgenc wont have even loaded by the time WinAVI is finishing....

lol thats funny WinAVI takes twice as long as TMPGenc... At least every time I've used it... Plus TMPGenc take less then a second to load so I fail to see were you going with that comment

Only used TMPGenc although have no need for avi to mpeg so dont use it much although use vos for DivX to DVD occasionally...

that cant be right.....winavi converts my movies in about 40 minutes. tmpgenc takes hours.......weird that you got the opposite happening.
