I was thinking about an 17"+ LCD Flatpannel. What's the best buy for under $300? I also heard there are dead pixels sometimes... that's gotta suck.

here's some cheap ones I found, but am not sure about the specs:
http://www.outpost.com/entry?site=op:mfe020405&sku=4243864 $ 199.99 after $50 rebate (I actually hate those really.. take forever)

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-024-501&depa=0 $209.99 no rebate needed.

:boxing: the rest on this page are under $300.. nice, but I don't know which to choose. :alucard:

Lots of suggestions here:

The Samsung Syncmasters are good. I used to to have one. I have a dual monitor setup now with a Dell 19 LCD and a Dell 18 LCD. I love them both.

as for dead pixels, I read on newegg.. this guy got angry and flicked the dead pixel and it came back to life, another guy rubbed it with a warm cloth and it worked. O.o
