View Full Version : My 6600 Gt is going crazy

Ok so I turn on my Pc and hear a loud buzzing noise comming from my 6600 GT video card when I get to boot up windows the fan on it starts to go crazy at different speeds. Whats going on? :blink:

can you RMA/return the card?

hopefully you just bought the card. :ohmy:

But anyway if you can't/don't want to return it you could always buy a new heatsink and fan (unless that card supports changing the fan...most have it built right in).

Ok I just had to tap on the fan a few times to stop the noise. It wasent the fan that was the problem it was the fan's vibrating. :blushing:
