I dislike it as well.
Never liked it, if you have no one then it's merely annoying. 'cos of all the stupid roses and soppy romantic sissyness everywhere.
When you do have someone you forget to give them something, and the bitching starts. Either way it sucks.

It's another day I get duped into buying a present and it's neither Christmas or birthday time.
I've had some good memories though like when I stayed in the deluxe suite at The Churchill Hotel and had breakfast in bed, dinner, and a night of dancing.

I note you said "I stayed in the .... " wasn't that quite lonely. :D
But maybe not, narcissism has it's advantages.
I do hear that The Churchill Hotel has the best mirrors, especially in the deluxe suite.
This will be my first Valentines day for 5 years that I stand a reasonable chance of getting a card.... :)
Usually I don't even notice it til its gone past.

I dislike it as well.
Is that cause you have to get your girl a pressie? :shifty:
What you gonna get her, and why is it always humiliating for guys to have to get pressies? :(
Is that why woman like em so much cause they know the embarassment we have to go through?
I say 'we' like I am gonna be doing it  ........hang on  :w00t:

I am not going to remind my boyfriend that it is valentines day but still get him a present. Then when I give him the amazing present and he gives me nothing I will be able to get him to do the dishes for the next year as he will feel guilty. Mwahahaha
