i need to know if its at all possible if you can use a dvd in a cdrom drive...i dont want to buy a dvd drive for my computer... im cheap... :helpsmili :frusty:

Not possible, also a 16 speed dual layer (9gb) DVD-/+rw is less than £40.

Its not poss, and for a dvd-rom, you can get one for next to nothing. A burner like peerzy says for £40-£50

In fact i have a rom under my desk right now you can have for p+p of £10 (UK) Its a sony DDU220E - think its 4spin, but not at all sure - it def works, just i replaced it with a burner...pm me if you want it
