NOD32 is my fav, and has been proved to be upon the best for catching viruses Much better than avg). It also uses very ltitle resources.
I'll PM you a link to get the full version+crack. :)

Avast! is small, well behaved and it's free for personal use, so there's no need to crack it.

I love this program, so much better than the Norton flavours. tho its the same engine you really can'T compare the two. Less eye candy, fast at start up. I don't know its running untill it stops a virus or quarantine's a trojan. In the top three for protection . And if you follow the link free too. :D

Ya I understand the reasons of some .Read my edit. But with computers so fast now and the memory we have .... no excuse about the resources shit. IMHO .

You know I'll get flamed for it ! But what the heck. Not often I see Norton or Symantec users ask for help on solving a virus issue. :whistling

Really?
We see it constantly at the shop.
Not so much with actual infections (McCaffee leads that list easily), but Norton seems to have problems with just about every other program one might install.

I suppose that it might be an effective tactic....if Norton blocks internet access totally, then infection isn't a problem.

I realize this is a nitpick, but why is it that after a fresh install of Norton you have to go to Live Update 5 or 6 times to get all the updates (rebooting in between, naturally) instead of just once?

@clocker, I meant this forum . And yes that update is a pain, its really three program's in one . Liveupdate, Livereg, and the Antivirus.
