I think this movie was a lot like White Noise, the only that made it scary was all the pointless and extremely loud screaming and sound effects. Your watching the movie... and one character is looking at another character, its really quiet, no movement, then all of a sudden, for no reason, someone screams really loudly, and you jump. I find that annoying, not scary. Thats all the movie was.

I'd tell you why the ending was terrible, but that would spoil the movie. They used cheap screaming to cover for the plot holes and unanswered questions.

Did anyone else see this movie? Did you like it? I feel like I've wasted 2 hours of my life today. Check out the IMDB boards, 80% of the threads are filled with people talking about why it was so terrible.

A lot of bad movies coming out at the moment...(Alone in the Dark...). Can't remember the last time I got excited about an upcoming film.

What good is it to be able to watch free movies if they all suck?

And don't forget how after breaking the toys he kicked the boogeyman in the face. Wow that was stupid.

no dude it wasn't scary and the entire movie sucked, the ending just showed us how bad of a movie it really was.

Yeah because it would make loud noises or someone would scream, at random, for no reason.

horror movies of teh modern day just suck

and are predictable

The ring is the only modern horror film I have found decent

I'm with adster on this one, out of all the horror movies I've seen (mostly modern), The Ring is right up there in the number 1 spot, exorcist being 2, and so on. but the ring is the only movie on there that's "modern" (after 1995).
