The Grid (TV-14, LSV) is an international project that looks in detail at a terrorist cell operating on a global level and a team of American and British counter-terrorists who are tasked to stop it," explains Gareth Neame, BBC's head of drama commissioning. "It's an ambitious project that explores what motivates and finances the terrorists and examines how international agencies must cooperate to defeat them. The drama looks at the defining threat of our time but does so on a bigger scale than is possible with shows like Spooks and 24."

"Bitrate may look low, but quantizer means alot more than bitrate when it comes to xvid/divx and the average I/P quant of this mini is less than 3 at max scene resolution. So the 5.1 AC3 was used rather than using a higher (better) resolution and MP3."

It's a collaboration between America's TNT network and the BBC.

American and British intelligence try to uncover terrorist cells.

So far it's pretty good.

Some terrorists are in a hotel room "fixing up" some sarin for distribution.

One of them fucks up and drops cigarette ash on the thin membrane separating the sarin from the air thus release the gas.

They try to haul ass (the cigarette dummie immediately keels over) and bust through the door thus releasing it into the hallway.

19 dead.

One guy just makes it while pushing a baby carriage down the steps. It "caught" the mother though.

I tell folks about good shit coming on and they "discover" it well after the initial airing. That's the filesharing community for ya. ;)
