Is he on vacation?

We ran into someone posting under that name elsewhere, as far as we could tell, tho', it was just some other individual out to make trouble.

I wish some people, or malicious cretins if you will, would let the names of those worth a million times more than themselves alone.

He's probably still ill.

He wasn't feeling too well when I left Newcastle on saturday, but he was still very much alive. He got himself addicted to being a Roman or something

He was actually asking if j2k4 didn't miss him yet

Snee
02-14-2005, 01:43 PM

Skweeky
03-18-2009, 08:55 PM
Really?

I always wear heels these days. I've got like 15 pair. At least. These days when I buy a new pair Gem makes me throw out an old pair that I don't wear anymore. But I've run out of shoes to throw out so we're down to handbags now

Rat Faced
03-18-2009, 09:31 PM
Probably my fault.

Only places I've ever taken you, you'd probably sink in High Heels.

I like the smile you wear, when you aint shoutin' at me tho..

And I think you'd look good in a Birthday Suit.. ;)

Skweeky
03-18-2009, 09:35 PM
I have never shouted at you. :o

Next time we meet up, I'll bring some heels :P

What size are you? (feet I mean :p )

Skweeky
03-18-2009, 09:41 PM
You should really stop using Babelfish

I have a lovely pair of bright purple ones that sparkle. Very comfy too!

Was watching Michael Mcintyre the other night doing the thing about how Geordies pronounce 'a' and 'e' the same.
It's funny cause it's true!

Proper Bo
03-18-2009, 09:44 PM
isn't, racist:snooty:

Proper Bo

depends on what definition of geordie ewe use rly.
I was born in north shields:pinch:

Skweeky
03-18-2009, 09:48 PM
Is that within spitting distance of the Tyne?

Rat Faced
03-18-2009, 09:48 PM
No we don't.

All Vowels are hard though, so there are a lot more "a's".

eg:

Teacher = Pronounced "Tech-ah"
Water = Pronounced "Wa-Ta" with hard a's

There's also no such thing as a silent letter in the Dialect. Everything is phonetic. Newcastle = Newcassil, School = Skool etc

Proper Bo
03-18-2009, 09:49 PM
Is that within spitting distance of the Tyne?

Yes.

Skweeky

(see what I did there)

Rat Faced
03-18-2009, 09:50 PM
North Shields is generally regarded as part of the Geordie nation, although some still claim its more Northumbrian.

But then, so are Geordies

Skweeky
03-18-2009, 09:50 PM
Is that within spitting distance of the Tyne?

Yes.

I've just looked at a map, I don't think you can spit from there to the Tyne unless you are, well erm, a long distance spitter or something.

But it's pretty close I guess.

What do you think RF?

Proper Bo
03-18-2009, 09:52 PM
